JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, earlier JSS University, was established in the year 2008 with a founding vision to serve the needs of the community at large and envisions emerging as a unique institution in the higher education sector.
JSS AHER, through its innovative teaching, learning, and research, continues to meet the challenges of the 21st century by building on the strong foundation and contributions of the sponsoring society, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, and the visionary leadership and patronage given by His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, the Hon’ble Chancellor of the Deemed to be University.
JSSAHER over the past one and half decade has established its position significantly as a young university driven by mission and with passion, in the ever growing and highly competitive Education Sector by its achievements in the areas of Education, Research, and Outreach activities.

JSS AHER believes in the core mission of transformation of the students and enable them to acquire Collective Intelligence, Proper Scientific Communications, and Challenges to convert breakdowns into breakthroughs through advancement of academic and scientific learning and innovation.
