User Orientation Program & Workshop

JSS Medical College library had organized a one day END USER ORIENTATION PROGRAM-Clinical Key Full text Journals Online Database and Scopus -Elsevier Science on 16th October 2012 at 11 am to 1.00 pm at Demonstration Room, Department of Forensic Medicine and JSS Hospital at Rajendra Bhavan at 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm. The Programme was well- attended by 150 staff & students from various departments, and presentation was given by Mr. Varun , Sales Manager E-Products Health Science, Elsevier Science Bangalore.
JSS Constituent College libraries had organized a one day workshop Quality in Research and Publications and Google Searching Strategies on 01st October 2014 at 11 am to 1.00 pm at Gallery No.6 JSS Medical College, The Programme was well- attended by 150 staff & students from various departments, and presentation was given Dr. R. Jagadeesh and Prof. Mohamed Minhaj, SDM College Mysore.
JSS AHER and MyLISA Mysuru organized a one day workshop and end user orientation program “Search and review of medical Literatuare: issues and trends for medical practitioners and students” on 30.09.2015 at at Sri Rajendra Centenary auditorium, JSS Hospital, Mysuru. There was an encouraging participation of about 350 PG students/faculty from the four constituent colleges of JSS AHER. There were four sessions viz., Resources for medical research, Online searching techniques and strategies (though Google), Referencing techniques and introduction of Zetero software and Clinical key/Scopus user orientation program.
JSS AHER had organized a one day workshop on “Technological tools in Literature review: from research to publication” was conducted on 13th June 2017, at Sri Rajendra Centenary auditorium, JSS Hospital, Mysuru. There was a good response of about 450 PG students/ faculty from four constituent colleges, faculty of life sciences and department of Health system management studies.
