A Career awareness programme on Career Awarwness Progrmme on ‘CAREER PROSPECTIVES AND PLACEMENT AVENUES’ was organized from Training and Placement cell, SLSM & LSD, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru, for Post-Graduation students. with an objective exploring various career opportunities and placement avenues available after the completion of their postgraduate studies and to help them make informed decisions about their future. Dr. Raveesha K.A, Professor & Head, SLSM & LSD, JSS AHER, Mysuru addressed the students and highlighted various options available after postgraduation, including pursuing higher studies such as M.Phil. or Ph.D., appearing for competitive examinations etc., he emphasized on the importance of soft skills that contribute for fetching the positions in different sectors of the industry. Dr. K. Sumana, Placement Coordinator, coordinated the event, Dr. Sushma BV, Dr. Sathish Kumar HS, Dr. Anil Kumar K, Dr. Manasa R Walmiki & Dr. Sowmya TN, Dr. Gurukumar, TPC members, SLSM & LSD, JSS AHER, Mysuru were a part of the event. The Resource person Mr. Revanth, Senior Manager, Business Operations & Overseas Education, Bulls Eye, Mysuru addressed all the post-graduation students of the training sessions. A total of 150 students from all divisions and departments under SLS & LSD actively participated in the training session. Mr. Revanth addressed the students on various career opportunities, Overseas education, the competitive examinations and the application schedule etc.,. Special emphasis was placed on overseas education, including information on scholarships, application procedures, and selection criteria.
