On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, Department of Community Medicine, JSS Medical College , JSSAHER,Mysuru organized essay and drawing competition for the students of JSS High school,SS Nagara Mysuru with the theme

World No Tobacco Day was observed on 31st May 2023 at the premises of JSS High School SS Nagara Mysuru .Chief guest and Guest speaker Dr Thippeswamy H M,Reader, Public Health Dentistry, JSS Dental College Mysuru and Guests of Honor Dr Sunil Kumar D, Professor and Head, Department of Community Medicine and Sri Shivashankar S P,Head Master, JSS High School, SS Nagara, Dr Rashmi S, Senior Resident, Department of Community Medicine, and Mrs Jyothi, Teacher of JSS High School, Mysuru inaugurated the event by watering the plant

Dr Thippeswamy H M, spoke about ill effects of Tobacco uses and motivated the students to pledge to *Say No to Tobacco*

Drawing competition and Essay writing was arranged for high school students with the theme

Dr Amoghashree, Assistant Professor, Postgraduates Dr Shruddha and Dr Lekha shree, staffs of JSS High School were also present on the occasion Winners of the competition Drawing competition
