On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, Department of Community Medicine, JSS Medical College , JSSAHER,Mysuru organized free general health camp for the people of Ramnalli with the theme “We Need Food, Not Tobacco” at the premises of Government Higher Primary School, Ramnalli on 26th May 2023. Dr Sunil Kumar D, Professor and Head of Department of Community Medicine and Dr Ravindra, Medical officer of Hanchya PHC inaugurated the event by watering the plant. Organisers Dr Amoghashree, Assistant Professor and Dr Rashmi S, Senior Resident, Department of Community Medicine were also present. A rally of 1st year MBBS students was flagged off to create awareness about harmful effects of tobacco. Around 50 people were benefitted from the camp. Staffs , Postgraduates,interns and medico-social workers of Department of Community Medicine, JSS Medical College, Staffs of Hanchya PHC and ASHA workers were also present on the occasion.
