An Institution Innovation Council (IIC) calendar event with the topic being ‘How to plan for Start-up and legal & Ethical Steps’ was conducted by the IIC of JSS Dental College & Hospital on 18th May 2023. The resource faculty was Mr Shivashakar B, Chief Executive, SJCE-STEP, JSS Technical Institutions Campus, Mysuru. Mr Shivashankar who spoke about the various steps involved in planning for a Start Up and also the Legal and Ethical issues associated with it. He also elaborated on the varous facilities available with SJCE-STEP to encourage the budding entrepreneurs. An insight into the many funding opportunities for the start-ups . The audience were 40 students across all the years of the BDS course and post graduate course along with 10 faculty who attended the talk.
