Students Research Cell of JSS Medical College has organized Research Fair 2023 for the fourth consecutive year on 17th and 18th of May 2023. Dr.H.Basavana Gowdappa, Principal, JSS Medical College inaugurated programme. Dr Suma M N, Vice Principal formally welcomed the gathering and explained about the inception of research fair. Dr.Praveen Kulkarni, Vice Principal (Paraclinical), gave brief introduction about the research fair and various activities organized as a part of this event. Sri S.R.Satish Chandra, Administrative Officer, Mrs. Shilpa P, Assistant Administrative Officer, JSS Medical College were present on this occasion. Dr.Deepa Bhat, Professor, Department of Anatomy proposed the vote of thanks. Poster presentation competition, Best Dissertation Award Competition and Best Publication Competition were organized as a part of Research Fair. Eminent faculty members from different colleges across the state judged the posters and dissertation presentations. A total of 136 final year post graduates presented the posters and eight out of them received best poster awards. Out of 67 post graduates who had applied for the best dissertation competition, 12 have got selected for the final round of presentations and among them one received the first prize and runner up prize for the best dissertation.
