India and Indian Higher Education is competing for its global share. The Indian HEI’s are on increase by the year and there is a need to maintain Distinctiveness and sustain Quality. With Internationalization staunchly promoted by National Education Policy 2020, JSS AHER has ambitious plan for its exponential growth and a roadmap will help it realize the same in a timely manner globally.
VISION FOR NEXT FIVE YEARS
Collaborations with Memorandum of Understanding with specific academic or research outcomes-
- 5 Industries from Fortune 500 - Pfizer, Merck, Abbott, Bristol Meyers squib, GSK, J&J etc. at global level
- 10 Institutes from the Top 100 Universities across the globe.
- 5 National organizations (DRDO, CSIR, DHR, ICMR and NIMHANS)
- 2 Global Agencies (WHO, UNESCO)
- Philanthropic organizations
Global Engagement
- International Students at Univ. level 15-20%
- Identifying new markets
- Plan at least 1 joint academic program with International collaboration
- Setting up a branch campus in Mauritius / Dubai
Every major milestone of JSS AHER needs to be communicated to the world.
With this, the Constituent Colleges have been asked to work towards the Vision set for the year 2022 and following are proposed and instructed for the ICD team at JSS CPO.
1) ICD Team at Institutional Level:

2) Strengthening of Alumni Network (at National & International level) - Utilize their expertise in academic or research prospects. This is to favour any further collaboration with Industries/Institutions at Global level.
3) Tracking of Collaboration at the Institution level and coordinators of MOUs to track the progress of the same. Quarterly, the coordinators of MOUs to submit a report to the ICD team as and when required by the GEO, JSS AHER. The University Format will be circulated for the same.
4) Faculty Spotlight for Newsletter- Any faculty with recognition in Academic/Research at global level to submit a short note with photographs on the same to ICD TEAM. The recognitions can be published papers, invited lectures or presentations.
5) Minimum of One International Event to be organised per year at JSSCPO. Where in, the invited speakers and chairpersons may be from our Collaborative partners aboard OR person of interest for scope of International collaborations at Institution level. The faculty of the Institution are encouraged to apply for various funding agencies for the same. ICD Team to support in this endeavour.
6) Facilitate International student admissions- Dedicated College webpage that in accordance with the University global engagement website. International Activities of JSSCPO and snapshots to be showcased. The ICD team to coordinate with University for any support.
7) Faculty- Student Exchange Programmes with Partnering Organisations- Encourage faculty and students to undergo exchange programmes with specific measurable academic or research outcomes with the Partnering organisations (Industries/Institutions).
8) MOU for Corporate Social Responsibility activities- Identify Organisation (Industry/Philanthropic) who are in dire need of CSR activities to the community and propose a MOU with them to carry CSR activities locally. Seek help from Medical College & Hospital for any assistance to conduct.
